Has anyone registered there work that they do for extra cash or for income period? I am wondering and thinking about all the wonderful write offs. Does any one do this? Can you share your experiences?

I don't have a home business license yet, but I am thinking about it because right now I am doing Ebay. I have plans for a couple more online business. I really have not made enough to pay for the license. As soon as there is a decent profit, I will obtain my license.

I got a tax ID, but I didn't register my url name or anything. I don't think they care as long as I pay my taxes which I do. Alicia

I registered my DBA name long ago, and I have a tax ID. If I ever make enough money that I have to file taxes on it, I will incorporate, if only to separate my personal tax obligations from those of the business. I have writtien a great article about this on my blog, if you'd like to read it: http://badpennyweb.blogspot.com/2007/08/have-you-covered-all-legal-issues-in.html
