Being a person who loves to cook I have a couple of specialties, But what are your specialties, what can you cook really good and do others think so too?

My family tells me I am the queen of rice because I always make it so scrumptious ! I hate plain rice so I use a variety of additives to jazz it up without buying any boxed brand !
I add fresh cut vegetables half-way through the cooking process such as mushrooms and onions and garlic or squash, peas, carrots, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, maybe olives or feta for a greek type.
I generally don't use straight water, I add chicken broth, beef broth or vegetable broth to my rice and add a pat of butter. I also start cooking it with the water cold and bringing it to a boil, then simmering for up to 20 minutes. I also stay away from white rice and using alot of brown or jassmine or even basmati Rice.
I also make it sweet sometimes, baked with honey or raw cane sugar or slowly creamed on the stove with milk and brown sugar . . . cinnamon added, raisins and almonds make it ever so delicious !

I think my specialties are baked goods. Cookies, cakes, cupcakes, I love making all of them! And they always turn out good. I also love decorating cakes and cupcakes so not only are they good, but they look pretty.
As far as regular food, I love my spaghetti sauce. It took a couple experiments before I settled on the perfect one but I think I have it now. I always keep some in the freezer for a quick and easy meal.

My husband loves my cashew chicken. He asks for it at least once every two weeks. It's funny that he likes it so much, since growing up he didn't like cashew chicken, and still doesn't really like it when we go home and get it from a restaurant.
The first time I told him I was making it, he wrinkled up his nose. Then he tried it, and has been hooked since! My son likes it, too, though he doesn't like as much sauce as my husband does.

Supposedly (and if you discount American Cuisine) I favor Italian Cuisine. After that Southeast Asian, then Spanish and Southwestern. I'm also good at cooking anything I put my mind to, at least according to people around me who've sampled my cooking.
