Well it is Spring here in Melbourne Australia now and it is the time I love to get out in the garden, so I have been busy planting my vegie pots, Cherry Tomatoes, Chives, babt beetroot, and Raddishes and when I was at the garden shop I couldn't help but buy myself a new decoration for my garden, as I have different sections in my garden, one for my Cowboy and Indians, and a part for my music friends, so this addition was for my music section...he is so cute.

Yes peanutjar you read right! When it's summer her it's winter there and visa versa. My dad is from Australia and I remember one year we went there and spent Christmas Day on the beach! Was that ever a different experience! And yes lilaclady I like your garden ornaments, the frog and cat are adorable!

Hi lilaclady! Your musical cat is so cute, and very original. I love frogs myself, so I adore your little one next to the cat! I hope you find more of these for your music section of your garden. I live up on the Gold Coast, and I love spring too, as it's good to work in the garden before it gets too hot in our summers. You have been a busy lady getting in all your veg, and reminded me that I need to get mine in too.

Well the vegie part is a bit new to me, a friend bought me one cherry tomato plant last year and I put that in a big pot and it was wonderful, so I am expanding this year, I have my 2 Cherry tomatoes in already but I am growing the chives, beetroot and radishes from seed so I will see how I go....hahahahah I'm a farmer....

I love your new garden decoration. It is so cute. Very nice choice of decoration. Looks great and bet your garden looks wonderful too. That is neat how you are decorating it. All I have is a football player statue in my yard near the bushes and bird bath.

Happy Spring, lilaclade. It is the best season to plant anything in this season. It is so good that you will decorate your new garden. Right now it is autumn here in the north hemisphere. I love the cool air.

Yes Spring and Autumn are the only times I really spend in the garden as I hate cold weather and I hate hot weather so I have to jump in when the weather is just right... :)

It's nice how you paired up the two items and they make an attractive display. Now that I know you're having spring, I expect to live vicariously through you to get through our cold winter LOL!

I love that... cute as it can be!! My garden, porch, and house are full of frogs... and I only bought a couple of them... everyone I know just started giving them to me!! Glass and wrought iron, ceramic, stone... I even have them 'climbing' up the walls! And every year I have the real thing living in a big pot in my greenhouse! When I took care of my Pop, frogs started showing up at his retirement village... they said they'd never had any before... Guess my critter chose ME!!

Hi, Gardening it was one of my grandmothers hobby, she really had one in the backyard of our ancesterol home. When we were childern we used to play they it was like a park for us. I even remeber that colour combinations grandma made with those flowers those well kept gardens we never spoil any we also helped her lot to keep that garden well. Whever ever someone says or go to a garden I do remeber my grandmas smiling face.

I love gardens! My father used to have gardens all the time. Tomatoes, squash, lettuce everything always tasted better fresh from the garden. My grandmother would always had a garden (she passed away in 1977). She loved pansies! She might change some of the flowers year by year, but she would always have pansies. Every time I see a pansy I think of her. I would love to have a garden. But apartment living makes that a little hard.
