The truth will set you free: but it wont always make you popular

No matter how you look at it.. the truth is a two edged sword.
It cuts going in and coming out..
If you stand up and speak for what is right ..it will have many different responses..
Some people will walk away from you..others will try to silence you..while others may stand beside you.
If you stand for something..there are many reactions to what you stand for.. Are you ready.
Are you brave enough to say when black is black and white is white and not fear those who want you to say blue is green when it's not?I am so tired of people who walk around with sugary speech trying to win some kind of brownie points..when in their hearts they don't believe what their mouth is saying!!Let's be people who are real..and stop worrying about whether the truth we speak will be accepted.
The truth will set you free to be yourself..and it will also free others.

Good for you to post this topic littlefranciscan. Yes the truth will let you free..i do agree with you. If ever you tent to hide the truth and tell lie and when you wanna defend that lie u have to lie again.. to cover up that lie. So doing sin after another sin.
Its always better to tell the truth.. and live with it.. even people might hate you and condemn you.. its ok.. as long you mind and soul is free from all the worries.. and you will be blessed for doing so. God Bless

Thank you and God bless you for your good words..
It is so true..tell a lie and you need to tell many others to keep it going.
You have to have a good memory if you are a liar because if you don't remember the lie people will call you on it.
One lie begets another lie!

I believe in speaking the truth regardless of the reactions. But sometimes I find that the truth hurts people and then wonder if it is really worth it.
I personally feel being silent about something that needs to be told is equivalent to not speaking the truth.
Though I always prefer speaking the truth...sometimes I'm sometimes confused it it is really for the better or is it better to just be quiet and let certain things be.
