My little granddaughter spent the weekend with me and we baked cutout cookies. This is my favorite recipe. They are quick to mix....no refrigeration and they are yummy 3 cups flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda pinch of salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 cup butter Mix above ingred. as you would for a pie crust. Mix 2 well beaten eggss with one cup sugar and add to the above mixture. Roll thin and cut with cutters. Frost and decorate! You can also us a cookie press if desired.

My grand daughter loves to make sugar cookies too. My recipe is different then yours. The important thing is fun and closeness of making them together.

If they seem a little soft at first the dough will come out of it when you roll them out in flour. But they are very good.
