I kinda find it funny. You always hear safety being drilled into peoples heads. WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT.. dont talk on a cell when your driving.
But in the last week I have seen atleast 5 police offers chatting away on their cells while driving through busy streets. Whether they were talking to friends..super visors..coworkers.. Whatever.. why do all the rules change for them.
Which makes me wonder.. do some cops like to break the rules...just cause they can? I know not all cops do, but I have seen alot of them abuse the speed limits and such jsut cause they're cops..what do you think?

A clear cut case of do as I say not do as I do. Unfortunately to many police feel they are above the law. They should really be subject to the same laws we are. If they don't obey the law how can they expect us to?

Yes I agree with you there, I do think that SOME (not all) cops do break the law more or less because they can! But then there are the good ones that arn't like this, and those are the ones that we really need to applaude!!!! These are the ones that do their very best to obey the law at all times and those are the ones that help make the streets a bit safer for all of us.
I think that cops are human just like the rest of us and the "laws" we break often like using the phone while driving or speeding are sometimes done unintentionally and I think that cops do it unintentionally too, but the difference is that "us normal people" try to be more aware of how fast we are going,or pulling over to talk ect. more often then a police officer because we know that we will get tiketed and fined for these things where they dont have to worry as much. Good topic!!
