Is A Bird! Yes They are best friends! Char feels she is Timmys Bodyguard. On Friday I was getting "Timmy" my cockatiel's cage ready, as I would be away for the whole weekend at my job, and which I do twice a month. Anyway I walked away with his water cup to get him fresh water. Char my cat was laying on top of his cage as usual. I looked in the cage and Timmy was not there. I looked up at Char and started to say where is Timmy. Then he chirped 'lol. I keep a partial cover over his cage during the day, so he has some quiet "Timmy" nap time. There he was trying to hide from me. I first tried to talk to him and grab him. He then moved up a bit closer to Char, and she bent down as to kiss him. I tried to grab him, and he jumped on top of Char, and Char slowly stood up. I tried to grab Timmy, but he started flying around the room as Char just looked on. Well I did catch him, and got him back in the cage. He then started all his lovey dovey talk with me, as Char resumed her postion atop the cage. I think he has caught onto the fact that I leave him alone for a few days, and now he doesn't like it. So he decided to play me. But hey it's not like I leave him alone. Char is there to babysit him, and she doesn't even get minimum wage, she works for treats, not to mention room and board.
So does anyone else have a cute story to share with all of us animal lover's? We love to hear them!

I don't have a story of my own but I felt I had to comment on how cute yours was. Animals obviously look out for each other when they're used to them.
I can just imagine Timmy perching on top of Char. lol.
Thank you for sharing a light-hearted story which I very much enjoyed reading. Brightest Blessings.

I did enjoy the story, and you wrote it very well.
Just an idea, but if you have all those animal stories in your brain, why don't you put them on paper, in short stories, and publish them in a book? Even make the animals talk? This one was a very endearing story and people love to read about pets and animals. I think you could do very well writing about these two.
It's worth a try, my friend. Brightest Blessings.

Yes it is so true. Them two are like two pea's in a pod lol. You just have to see it, as it is to cute., and to think Char came from the pound, and I din't know anything about her. Lol as I type she is on Timmy's cage washing herself, and it doesn't even bother Timmy.
