Do You Use Internet Banking or You Prefer to Go to the Bank Directly?

Well, I have to admit that I hate going to the bank to queue up for something if I could do it over on the internet. I use internet banking awhile ago and it's absolutely saving my time. I would rather use the time to do something else. What about you?

Internet banking has totally replaced any other way of banking. I use it to pay all my bills, to organize my accounts as we have seperate accounts and a joint account for bill pay (which reminds me I need to make a transfer).

I hate going to the bank so I do as much as I can through internet banking. I find it much more convinient and a heck of a lot quicker. I still have to go to the bank every once in a while but it's a lot better than having to go to pay every bill would be.

Yes I still go there when something major needs me, and I don't mind it that much! But if I have to do it once every two weeks, I would definitely be yelling at someone *laughs*.

Well, my computer is not going to spit twenty dollar bills out at me so I don't do any banking online. I only use my account online to check my bank statement, to see if money has been deposited, to balance my cheque book. I pay bills (the few that I have because I have no income) at the bank machine.
My husband does most of his banking over the phone.
I just don't trust the internet, especially after I stupidly followed one of those fake security emails from the bank and, as a result, had money from my account transferred into my daughter's college savings account and then most of the money in her account withdrawn. Fortunately the bank was able to investigate the withdrawal because an email address was provided and I just signed a statement saying I did not authorize the transfer and I got my money back. It was a good thing I caught it. Now I just delete any emails that come from banks because banks don't email their customers.

Sorry to hear your experience! Well, I would ignore every email my bank sends me. I only log in from the main page to do stuff and then I will leave!

Hello wondericequeen,
I think I spend so much time to go to the bank :- to drive during peak lunch hour, to find parking (which always almost to none), to wait for my number to be called and so on. Last time when they just introduced the internet banking here, I was so afraid to try as people kept telling me the negatives info about it. But when I got to know and tried for the first time, I think it is not bad at all. I still feel insecure sometimes, but it really can save your time.

Well, I do both. I go to the bank to deposit but pay my bills online using my bank account. I cant find any way to place the money through my bank online. The only way is to physically visit the bank. If there is a way of depositing the money without going to the bank, I would surely do so. It really saves time and the hassle.
