For How many should we have to sleep daily?

In a book i read that 4 to 6 hour are enough. But sleep for more than 8 hours daily. what is your view?

People are different and need different things. I can cope with the day on less the 5 hours but i don't want to just cope with the day. I know i function better on at least 8 hours, i love my bed lol

I would say tuck youself up for the night with no alarm to wake you, and see what happens. But, i know for me i can actualy sleep to long, and then feel worse. Not much help i know, sorry

For me it is 8 hours ie from 10pm to 6am. If I have this then I will feel fresh and my mind is as clear as mineral water. This is what I want to do..

Actually, i have no such type of routine. normally i sleep at 12 o'clock. and get up at 6 am. But when i have do work then it become late. again in working days i have to get up earlier but in case of holydays I get up at 8 o' clock also. actually it is not possible for me to follow a unique routine.

I think it depends .For some people,4-6 hours would be Ok,but some other people need 8-9 hours'sleep daily.It depend on the quality of your sleep.Some people may have 9 hours'sleep daily in which only 4 hour'sleep is qualified while others are rubbish sleep.Some others only have 4-5 hours'sleep but all of this is qualified sleep.If you don't feel tired the next day ,it suggests that your sleep is enough.
