I found a way to make pizza that will not cause a spike in my blood sugar. I have posted the recipe on my Low-Carb Diabetic blog. If you have any recipes that you are willing to share please PM me and I will put them on this blog with your name as the donor of the recipe. Or with a backlink to your blog if it is about health, weight loss or healthy eating. you can visit the blog at http://low-carb-diabetic-recipes.blogspot.com Thanks Kowgirl

For me i thin he can eat but not always depend on his situation as diabetic person. He is the one knows how much sugar he needs and avoid . I think pizza is alright for them than other foods cause its ingredients are not so sweet , fats and others it just an average. They can eat as well as maintain their prescription described by their doctors.

The worse part of the pizza is the crust which causes a spike in the blood sugar because it is made from bleached processed flour. The other ingredients do not cause this spike or rise in our blood sugar, so we only have to change the crust.

My mother in law is a diabetic, so I'm going to bookmark this page. She loves pizza, but has to be careful of how much she eats because of all the crust. I do try to watch pizza sauce and everything else that I cook while she's here, in order to get the stuff with the least grams of sugar.
