Okay too funny this discussion was listed first under your latest discussion about you being boring........is Mylot trying to tell you something here lol.

I recently went on vacation, I saw some characters, Elmo and a few other ones. I also had my picture taken with them. My grandson loves Elmo, he wants to go to Cal. and meet him. I still have all the pictures on my memory card, or I would post some. Hey I went to the pic, made a comment and rated the picture. What are you going to do with all that extra money you will be making. I know, you can buy your wife some flowers or take the money and go to the casino.

I don't usually pose for photos with people in costumes. I don't really see many people dressed up in costumes much though. Just mainly around Halloween but I don't get my pic taken with them usually. Tyler looks scared lol. My cousin also did that autism walk this weekend where we live.

I'm not one to pose for pictures but will if asked. Never had my pic taken with a cartoon character or anything like that either. Guess I live a hermit life.

Hi grandpa bob.I love posing with cartoon characters,lol,but my daughter hates it and thinks that they are real and starts to panic and find somewhere to hide,hahaha.I have a picture of her when she was little and she did not want a picture with the easter bunny and i put her on his lap and she cried so loud,even i felt like crying for doing it,hahaha.Even santa too.I like shrek and this picture is awesome!:)

Hey Grandpa I've stumbled upon this nine months late but just had to jump in here!!!! That is so awesome!! She really does look like Fiona and yes I would have to do just what you did if I ever saw that!!! I assume you were at a walk for Autism Yes, My Boy would feel the same as Tyler...He would yell out "Shrek!" but then not want to go near him! Congrats on the New Category by the way! Perhaps one day I will be in a category as well! ~Heavens~

I'm glad you told us who was in the photo, as I would have though you were the green orge. (ducking, running, as fast as I can!!) Great shot, Bob. Looks like you two kids had a great day! I'm glad that you can be silly.

I used to take my daughter to Disney World and MGM during the summer. There were always characters there throughout the park. During the time I took her one year, it was when Mulan was very popular. They had a big huge parade for Mulan and the characters and afterwards as we were leaving, they could pose with them and have their pictures taken and autographs. While we were walking through the park, my daughter saw Mulan and Shan Yu walking to take their places behind a wall and she chased after them screaming Mulan ...Shan Yu! I had to catch her, and tell her that they were busy and we would meet them later. It was very funny. She really thought they were real. LOL, but we had a fantastic time taking her pictures with these people and she got to meet Mary Poppins and we also had the character lunch and she got to meet Goofy, Chip N' Dale, Mickey and Minnie and a few others. That was a magical time for her. She was just in awe and that made me feel very special that day for being able to provide her that.

LOL GP Bob, the last time that i did this I was maybe 4 or 5 years old. But here in The Netherlands I haven't seen this done anywhere really. Do this peope miss a lot - I think yes, especially making some kind of nice memory for their kids andx having pictures taken of such times TheFortunes
