 Anyone plan on getting the new Kid Rock CD? I had it a few days before it hit the streets and I am pretty impressed with it but it is a far cry from his old school rap tracks. It's got more of a southern fried rock feel to it but there are some really, really good ones like Half Your Age, New Orleans and So Hott.

He is a very talented musician and definitely does not get the credit that he deserves.
I am looking forward to the new CD and I hope it's as good as his others!

I love the kid and think he is a smart man. I think half Your Age was written as a dig at Pamela Anderson.

But if it sounds like country. That will be the last one I buy of his. Don't get me wrong I like country. I only buy certain country artists. Reba being one of them. Not someone who can't figure out what type of music they want to play.

I love the mix of blues, rock, rap, power ballads, country....It just has everything. At first, my favorite was Half Your Age - love the "sly country kissoff" to Pam. But now I'm finding that I really like When u Love Someone. In my opinion, this is his best work by far!!!
