Alopecia Areata  | |  Do you have this condition, has anyone asked you if you have Cancer becasue of it. I lost my brother to Brain Cancer and it bothers me that people think I have it I already am scared enough thinking I may get it.

She's already commented that people think she's on chemo but I don't know if anyone's asked her that straight out. She gets some kind of medication injected directly into her scalp periodically and it does help sometimes but it seems to be worse when she's under stress. Are you getting treatment for this? I really don't think there's any connection between this disease and cancer and really, I don't think you have to be scared because of your brother either. I'm very sorry for your loss, by the way. I hope you get better with your Alopecia too! Hang in there...hugs and prayers@
