I like Ron Paul and Rudy. The rest do not interest me at all as far as voting for them as president.

No Doubletalking! Thats rule one. You better have a real stance or you're nothing to me. No lying. No fraud, no deception and stop dodging real questions and issues. None of the candidates are doing this. Its just a bunch of puppets dancing for votes. Once they have them, they don't care about you.

Honesty and integrity.

A candidate should say what they mean, and mean what they say.

How can you make an informed vote if their stances are constantly changing?

I don't think any of us will find the "perfect" candidate as long as we continue to elect human beings rather than robots but I have to agree with what some of the others have said about needing someone to be honest and stop with the double-talk. I must say, though, you sure aren't either a liberal or a conservative based on the candidates whose qualities you like. They have polar opposite opinions on some issues, indeed. In all honesty, I'm having a difficult time making up my mind because all of the candidates running for the Democratic nomination have their strong points and when it comes to the issues I'm most concerned about they're all pretty close to each other's - and my - views. You mention Rudy's record as NYC mayor...it seems many New Yorkers weren't all that pleased with him in many ways and even the firefighters, or maybe I should say ESPECIALLY the firefighters, aren't supporting him in his election bid. All I can say is may the best man - or woman - win this time! At least I do think they're all fairly intelligent which is certainly more than I can say about the current Dimwit in Chief!

Ron Paul, definitely. Rudy's a bit too gung ho..and the city he was mayor of for awhile..quite a few people from there hasn't had much good to say about him. Especially not many of the firefighters. Romney strikes me as fake. And Hillary...I'm sorry but she leaves a bad taste in my mouth, plus...she said she's bomb Iran.

And since we need to be focusing on PEACE, not war...seeing as war's been a right mess lately and I don't think we'll be doing that great if we spend more years on it after so many already, that's not a good thing.

So...the only one I can say with confidence I would trust with the current state of this country, knowing all the candidates' backgrounds and their associates and all...that candidate is Ron Paul. He'd reverse alot of the horrible bills which have been passed lately..like the Patriot Act and restore Habeas Corpus and Posse Comitatus which are VITAL for us having the kind of country our founders intended and for us to have our basic human rights in this country.
Unless of course he's lying.
Almost all politicians lie. Hillary has been documented lying throughout her race so far, so have several other people running.
But that doesn't change the fact that I think that above all the others...he's our best hope. He's the least likely to lie.

I'm not excited, really. I'm anxious, more like. ALOT had been happening over the last six, almost seven now, years. And the future for this country is pretty much riding on us having a decent President this next election day. Our current President's done more damage than any other, so...

Here's hoping I'm right, and I hope he gets elected.

I reccomend doing your own research and not simply judging off of tv, though. You can learn ALOT in a brief amount of time, and can probably come to a settlement on at least one of the candidates.

Oh yeah. I have long since given up any pary affiliation. I have found that most of the politicians promise all sorts of things and then nothing happens. I like Hillary and I like the way Bill Clinton did things. After all we had a balanced budget then. He also was persusasive enough to get government and business to work together for the good of the country. I watched the keynote speech at the last Democratic convention which was given by Barack Obama. I thought at the time that he would be some one to watch. I really think the Democrtic ticket will be Clinton and Obama. I used to be a Republican but since Bush has been in charge with his "faithbased Christian conservatives" I cant stand it. I mean no disrespect to Christians but the ultra conservatives wont listen to anything. And being from Texas I cant stand Bush. Ron Paul will not go any where but some of his ideas are very good. I like Rudy to a point, but I dont know. I cant get excited about any of them this year. No matter what they will say it will be politics as usual. I do hope the next administration will not alienate so many of our allies like he did.

I donot think it matters what country you live in but government and politicians have lost so much respect and trust.Why because lies after lies ..They are going to do this and lo and behold when elected you see none of these things bare fruition. No matter who wins it will be the same and i doubt if we ever get a government in power that we trust and believe in. I have trouble every election and usually vote for the underdog.I have no faith in the system and only vote because man has fought and grasped for this ability to vote for generations and now that we are free to vote at least that is something i can do. Honestly i am not on Hillary's or Guilliani's side so who is left Thanks for sharing Good Luck

For my the best candidat is Obama because he symbol of American dream, he represante the futur of America.

no offense but i see it to be a waste of time to vote for canada and thats where i'm from so i would be the worst one to vote for the states tho mind you i wouldn't put hillory clinton for either country she is too dishonest.
