I also had turned my head away. I heard a thump and looked to see her on the floor. I was shocked almost to tears. I love Marie. It was the longest commercial break I have ever seen I think. I did get to see it replayed on the local news that night (and I'm sure it will be on YouTube in no time, if it isn't already). I was unaware that she was on Nutrisystem but I can see she has lost quite a bit of weight since joining DWTS, but a little too fast so probably the Nutrisystem contributed to that. I really hate to see her leave the show. They said she was checked out by a medic and given a clean bill of health, so to speak. I don't want to see her leave. Hopefully she will see a doctor and prove to the producers that she can continue. She'll just have to keep herself well nourished. I just hope that she is okay and they don't find an underlying health problem.

That was really scary indeed. I had watched a little of the end of the show before I saw the whole tape later, and I heard Tom say something about Marie being okay and in the trailer and I wondered what was up. I had wondered if maybe she collapsed during her dance, so I was glad to see when I watched my tape that she had made it through the dance. I thought she did better than all of those 7's personally. It was bizarre to watch her go down like that. I have heard some speculation on other sites that she will be forced out by ABC tonight regardless of the voting. I think that would be a lot like kicking someone when they're down, particularly if it's presented as just the results of the voting. Or maybe people didn't vote for her because they don't think her health can take it? I don't know. I have been so surprised by her this season. I didn't expect to like her much and she's been a delight. I hope that she's okay most of all, but unless it is formally announced that she's dropping the show for health reasons, I think it would be really sad to see her eliminated tonight.

That was really incredible! One minute she is jumping, excitedly after her dance, and the next minute she is on the floor! wow. Yes...glad she is okay. She is one of my favorites.

I watched her dance, but when Len Goodman was talking, I looked away. After several seconds of silence I looked up and she was lying on the floor. She is on the Nutrisystem diet, and I've tried that before. With eating that and doing all that exercise, that girl needs some protein! She said she was just winded, and I hope that is all it is. I wonder what everyone in the back was thinking. I imagine this is a clip that will be replayed constantly this week.

Seeing her fall was very upsetting. I have liked her from the beginning, but to be completely honest with everyone. When she said that her passing out is normal when she gets winded. It just makes me think that maybe it is time to call it quits for Marie. Don't get me wrong, I do like her. But comes a point where you need to put your health above everything else. The dances are not going to get any easier and she takes the risk of this happening again. Next time she could seriously get hurt.

That was REALLY scary. People can have heart attacks and literally die after vigorous exercise and I didn't know what the heck happened. I never saw anyone fall so had. She said that happens sometimes, that she stops breathing??? That is a strange way to explain a faint like that. I think she needs to be completely checked out to be sure she is getting enough calories (Last season, the women all looked anorexic by the end of the show because of all the exercise.) and if she has any underlying heart problems. I am very glad she is OK but hope never to see something like hat again! Ack!

I saw that too! I remember watching her with her brother, Donnie, in the 70's. Their show was called "Donnie and Marie". She is so pretty. I hope she is ok!

I know this is off topic but is anyone else having promblem posting and respones I am it started last night I'm nevertolate by the way i cant post anything like i said it started last night and i had 569 post and now its down to 534 is anyone having this problem??

I had difficulties watching this episode, but I barely saw that she fainted. (The static was terrible last night). Anyway, I hope she was alright. Did she say what it was?
