| |  I really liked this movie too. I think it really brought out that awkward stage - not so much in school, but with family at that age.
I thought all the proms I'd ever been too were boring, but I didn't think too much of high school or saw the importance of all the dances and such.
FYI - loved her in the Breakfast Club!

| |  Pretty in Pink is one of my all time favorite movies, Peanut! I love all the John Hughes movies; The Breakfast club, St. Elmo's Fire, 16 Candles. I think My favorite is Some Kind of Wonderful. Have you seen it?

| |  I have watched this movie so many times, and continue to watch it every time it comes on t.v. In fact it was on On Demand for HBO and I must have watched it like five times. It does resemble a lot of what I went through when I was in school. I was just like her, the girl from the other side of the tracks sort of speak, and it definitely defines what usually goes on when two people from two different areas are in a relationship, or like one another. It is unfair, and sadly it still occurs today, but it is one of my favorite movies overall. I really think it is because I can relate to it on a personal level.

| |  Well, the movie came out a year before I was born, BUT I feel like that doesn't mean anything. I discovered it as a teenager and I am sure teenagers today are still discovering it. It's a great movie. :)
