Hi! All
There is lots of food good for a pregnant woman. It's better to be on a balanced diet. The food rich in protein such as eggs, milk, fish, chicken, pork, duck and so on. Every day it's better to eat some fruit like apples, bananas, pears and so on because they contain lots of vitamins and minerals.
In fact, it depends on the pregnant's conditions and likes. When my partner was pregnant, she was a little sick in the stomach during the first three months. I cooked some food she enjoyed sometimes.

It's really important to have a balanced diet. In fact, I really have to look at what I'M eating, because I have pregnancy diabetes. So of coruse I have no bad sugar in y diet and I have to count the good one lol.
I have to say it,s kinda hard because I'M a big pasta lover and pasta have a lot of glucides. But I eat a lot of protein :)

Foods rich in folic acid for health and development purposes. Breads and cereals are enriched with it. Spinach, and other leafy greens have them too. That and iron and calcium rich foods are good. Potassium rich foods are always good for nutrition too overall.
I'm kinda drained, I just wanted to get that main point out.
If I think of anything else tomorrow and think of this thread, I'll come post it.

All the foods you listed are healthy and good for a pregnant lady. Also, liver is very healthy and even better if someone knows how to cook it so that it tastes ok . Liver is very rich in iron which most pregnant women need extra of. I was lucky in that I had a grandmother that cooked it so good that I actually enjoyed eating it. When I became pregnant with my 4th child, i did try to emulate her cooking. I could not stomach the procedure involved in preparing and cooking it.
Also...for morning sickness...keep saltines handy.

Pregnant women needs a lot of iron and calcium. It is good for them to eat food rich in these minerals. Milk is a very good source of protein. There are also milk for pregnant women available in the market. This is a kind of milk fortified with the essential vitamins and minerals needed by concieving and lactating women. Plus there are also brands of milk that contain Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ARA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) known to contribute to the development of the babies' brain.
