Why did Francis can't get more playing time?

The reason is primarily because Steve Francis is a selfish player who can't embrace the fact that he is a role player now. When he started in Houston he was labeled the "Franchise" but even once Yao and Cuttino were both integral parts of the team he started getting upset. He got to be a prime time player in Orlando for a bit, but when it was time to share the spotlight he squandered, and he was awful in New York.

He's never won, he's never led a team to winning a lot in the playoffs and so he doesn't warrant the franchise tag. He has to embrace the fact that he's a role-player who needs to come off the bench and prove he can excel in that role like Mike James and even Bonzi Wells seems to be.

I suspect he's being bitter and that's why Adelman still has him sitting on the bench.

He is a all star player.
He has a strong ability but Adelman don't believe him .
Now he is back,the king is back,he is still the brother of Yao.

I think he hasn't got a hamornious relationship with the coach.His way of offense doesn't match the coach's arrangement.
At the same time,Adelman is also somehow wrong.He should offer equal opportunities to Steve as well as Wells at least.

Steve Francis is a good player but if he would move the ball around instead of shootin it everytime it came to him and got all his team mates involved instead of tryin to hogg the lime light he might b a better player he might become a team leader but he hasnt proven his self to b a team player yet and i think once he does hell b a very good asset to the rockets i mean he was back when he played with them the first time but he had a little issure with hoggin the rock.
