Fried Apple Pie?

Remember the little fried apple pies your Mother or Grandmother use to make?
Don't you miss them? I know I sure did, but not anymore. I found a way to make them
and still keep my blood sugar down. I am always searching for ways to make things that people with diabetes are told they can't eat. I guess I am just a hard headed person who can't stand to be told that I can't do something. First it was pizza, then potatoes, well I solved those problems, now it's the fried apple pies. Is there a food that you can not eat because it makes your blood sugar go too high? What is it? and do you think there may be a way we could alter the recipe so we can eat it?

Did you post this to your blog too? I haven't been over there, but as I said I did bookmark the link so I could look later on.
I remember my mother making peach and apple and cherry pies from canned biscuits and frying them up. She also used to make chocolate and lemon pies from pudding. Wow! That brings back memories that I haven't thought about in a while!
