My son asked me who trained Yoda so I looked it up and found that, according to yoda.locutus.be/starwars, he was trained by Bontu Sitmus but according to Wikipedia, he was trained by N'Kata Del Gormo.
Normally, I would assume that Wikipedia is wrong but occassionally it's not so would appreciate if someone could clarify this.

thanks for this bit of trivia. i wonder if they'll ever make a movie about how the jedis and siths came into existence. that would be one very good prequel. i know i'll be watching something like that if it was ever made to a movie.

I have read online that Master Be-De Leister was the origin of all Jedi and he was the one who trained Yoda. He lived in harmony for a thousand years and started to develop a Jeckel-Hyde personality where he unknowingly created and trained the first Sith in his altered state. He went insane and killed himself with a tool called the GerberSaber.
