Chili |
|
It was very chilly out last night so for supper I unthawed some Chili and had it for supper. When I eat chili I like to put sour cream in it, and chopped onions and shredded cheddar on the top. Do you eat your chilly plain or add things to it?

I use the tomatoes with green chilies in them. I also add extra green chilies sometimes. I serve it with warm homemade bread or cornbread.

jillhill (6259) | 11 months ago | I also like to dip hard rolls in mine! For some reason I don't like crackers in chili. Yours sounds wonderful with the green chilies....I might try that next time...are they in a can?

3. KarenLO (223) | 11 months ago | I would love to add cheese and sour cream to my chili but I am allergic to dairy....so all I add are crackers. By the way, unthaw is to freeze...haha. Just thought I'd give you a bad time. I hear that all the time....thaw is to unfreeze...haha. I am just kidding you.

4. Kay1213 (416) | 11 months ago | I like it with the cheddar and onions also. I haven't tried it with sour cream, but it sounds good! YUM. I don't know why I haven't thought of that. My sons' girlfriend makes really good chili. When I have it at home though I usually just dump it out of a can lol.

5. AmbiePam (10306) | 11 months ago | Yummy! I like chili without beans, and I had some the other night. I wanted sour cream, but didn't have any. So I put some fritos down, the chili over it, and then shredded some cheddar cheese over that. It hit the spot!

7. raijin (6735) | 11 months ago | If I feel like eating them, I take them as plain or prepare and turn them into something else. Chilli sauce, chilli oil, as we even have foods here made especially out of chilli. There's also a particular place here that helds a chilli-eating competition, they use the lottle ones since the smaller the chilli the hotter they are!;)
