Its that time and all the prices are skyrocketing and money seems to be burning a hole in your pocket and all the toy compaines are coming out with the toys that your child "just has to have" and it seems that every where you turn there is a newer yet imprved item that your son / daughter wants from santa.
my daughter is 6 And this year-
I asked her to name 5 things just FIVE things that she really hoped santa would bring her, and even though i expected a huige list of the i want this and i need that because EVERY toy commercail she screams "moma quick hurry tell santa i want that" every catalog i look into i see EVERY toy circled with her name next to it.. i thought 5 wqs going to be difficult.. but to my surprise when i said name 5 things she said to me
1. hello kitty camera
2.highschool musical 2
3.makeup
4. toys for my new brother and sister
5. daddy the transformer dvd...
she could not think of anything else and i thought it was so sweet that she didnt think of 5 things just for her... so needless to say.. her list will definatly be fufullied this year..
what about you what are the yop 5 things your child asked for this year?

I think your daughter is so cute for thinking of her brother and sister. Not to mention the Transformer dvd for daddy. You can look around the internet for cute Christmas border and write a little letter to her from Santa. Have this done while she's at school. When she gets home, you can give it to her saying how it was personally dropped off by one of Santa's elves. My kids loved that.
My 5 yr old really doesn't have her list out yet. She has only told me about this Littlest Pet Shop set that she doesn't have. What she doesn't know it's sitting upstairs in the attic next to the Santa wrapping paper. This is going to be really hard keeping it a secret from her until I wrap it, lol. My oldest at 11, wants an Ipod, clothes, and some books.
I was actually thinking of getting her an PSP. So she will probably get the Ipod and my youngest will get the PSP. Only time will tell, plus if I can get my hands on one this Black Friday. I can get the Ipod online at a really good price.
When do kids grow out of this Santa thing, so it would become one less present from us?,lol.
By the way, you should ask her what about mommy, lol. Still a sweetie pie for only asking for 3 items out of 5.

that is a good idea. i have been thinking of ways to do something like that.. she likes to get the mail when she gets off the bus and i was thinking of sending her a letter from santa and then when she got the mail she could see for herself that he sent her something.. still havent decided yet though, anything either way will bring joy to her eyes! she really is a sweet heart i say that all the time... she is one of the most thoughful person i know! The sweeter part right now is that her brother and sister isnt even here yet.. due in the next few weeks and she has laready thought of them!
thats nice that her one mention to you was the itme you have already gotten. isnt it wonderful how well we know our kids sometimes?
thank you for your response. take care and god bless

isnt it great how the younger they are the more they want and the more they want are random items?? lol maybe she too wants the tonka for her brother or maybe the spiderman....
theres that dress up thing again.. seems like most of the little ones are into that this year... my nieces, daughter and most of my daughters friends.
hannah montanna is another big thing this year..
thank you for your response... take care god bless!

I'm a lucky one...well I don't feel lucky because I miss those days....but my kids are adults now and two have kids of their own so now I get my kids things they need and whatever I think they would enjoy and not buy for themselves.

thats sweet... yea as adults it gets harder to pinpoint certain wants when the "needs" come first... when my mom asks for ideas i give her things that i need for the house or what ever instead of what i want.

One thing my sons are asking for is that new guitar hero game I think it's the 3rd one, and a new computer for both of them but other than that it's mostly little things.
