Passion or Money? |
|
I'm interested to know, most bloggers out there actually blog because they have a Passion for the Certain topic or because of able to earn an Income online. I started off with a Passion on my blog, but somehow the Passion starts to burn off and the ability to earn money is pushing me to continue. How do you balance between your Passion and not letting it overtake by the money involve causing you to force yourself to come out with Content which ends up a lousy piece?

It's ok to look at yourself and ask yourself what the hecks going on!? If you started blogging originally because you enjoyed it then cool. Go back to that way of thinking. However, ask yourself why did you start blogging in the first place? Was it really to write or did you ever consider the fact you might earn from it? Good luck

pastorkayte (674) | 10 months ago | My inspiration for blogging, comes from my passion to have my voice heard, but it also comes from a necessity to make money. However it is more for passion to write because you do not make a lot of money blogging and you are not going to get rich doing it. Blogging is also a great way to increase your writing skills. The old saying is "If you don't use it,you will lose it. So by writing often and by spending time researching topics you get the chance to hone your much needed writing skills. Whatever your inspiration for writing, it is a great job to do.

| BuenAmigo (17) | 10 months ago | yeah, agree. it's like trying hard to squeeze the content and theres no quality to it. soon it will end up as losing all readership as they find no meaning coming back. maybe the ability to earn, we can see it as addition incentive of blogging but not as the main purpose?

When I was in elementary, I like reading lots of stories then I would make a summary out of them. As I grow older I have forgeotten all about this. This is my reason for writing.

I am not really in this for the money. I just have insomnia and it helps me pass the time. It gives me a few dollars I can spend online and get a few things for my kids.

10. papayamilkshake (2) | 10 months ago | To me it seemed that money was a driver initially. I started off blogging on technical things and I'm happy to help my visitors when they encountered problems in their work.:) Well, I guess it works both ways as you still need supporters for your blog if you do not want your blog to end up in a blind corner of the internet.:) -papayamilkshake LoadRunner TnT @ http://loadrunnertnt.com
