He was putting something in his truck when a car came along and was too close to him and hit him with the cars mirror. He did a summersault and landed on the ground in great pain. The ambulance showed up and took him to the hospital. He has three broken ribs and maybe some damage to his pancreas. He's been sent home however in a great deal of pain. He won't be working for quite some time so please keep him in your prayers as well. Gosh when it rains it certaintly pours!

If the tabets are bothering you, you should ask your doctor for a different prescription in hopes the new ones won't bother you like this one does. I'll be thinking about you hon. Hope you get better!

And I hope the person who hit him ended up having an accident 'cos they lost their mirror! Justice that would be.
It sounds like he was very lucky. I hope that he rests and gets better soon. Just noone make him laugh! That would be really cruel!

Oh no, we don't want to wish others harm! No no. I'm sure the person feels bad for it but I'm not sure on that yet. His brother is home now resting comfortably and will be for some time. I agree about not making him laugh, that would be cruel. Thanks for caring enough to respond!!

LOL If that happens then I'd be out the door telling him he'd be on his own! LOL

What an odd thing to happen. How horrible for him! and what a lot of injuries from something that didn't sound so bad! Wow! Prayers are definitely on the way!

This is a nasty thing to happen. The three broken ribs will heal eventually, but I would concerned about the damage to his pancreas.
Will your husbands brother be able to receive compensation? Strictly speaking he should be able to get third party insurance from the other driver.
Plus, he should receive compensation for not being able to work.
My best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

Yes we're all very concerned about him and of his pancreas. Hopefully the next time he sees his doctor the test results will be all normal. We live in hope, right? Yes he should be compensated for the accident. I'm not sure how much but I hope he gets all he deserves and then some. Thanks Jenny for your wishes! Bless you!

OMG. How terrible. Did they by any chance catch the person responsible or was it a hit and run type of thing. Yes, your husband's brother will be in my prayers for his healing, and that his pain lessens
