Yes,i firmly believe its the military who are behind the killings of the activists. They are in power, they can do it.I also believe that the Americans are the brains behind all these killings to hide the truth and to continue raping our economy.

For as long as there are evidence to show that they are involved then by all means they should show it to us but if they could not show it then I would not believe it.

Put the one they accused of to where they belong. I think that is enough. What I usually observed is they just released the reports and that's just it there's no action being done to prove that they are right. For me for as long as the story remains a story it is still unverified as the truth.

what kind of evidence do you want to make you believe? the melo commision which was created by the phiippine government also found the same conclusion that some elements in the military are behind the killings. the arroyo government tried to keep the melo commission report out of the public eye, but due to pressing public pessure, it finally yielded and released the report. the UN envoy recently released its final report and categorically concluded that the military is behnd the killings. if still one is not convinced, one can only ask, why are the victims of extrajudicial killings members of left-leaning organizations who were critical of the arroyo government? and there seems to be a pattern and systematic execution of victims. and the impunity is beyond comprehension when the government has not really done enough to stop the killings when it has the power to do so.

i guess we have to wait for more findings...but if that UN envoy finds more physical and unabated evidence then, the evidence will give the conclusion...it is really difficult to speak out so easily that the military are the one's who does the killings...especially they have the 'power'...

the UN envoy has already given his final report. and he found out that it was the military that is behind the killings. i think you stated it correctly that the military has the "power." and this power can be used to kill citizens than protect the citizens. it is unfortunate that the military becomes a lapdog or subservient to arroyo. well, arroyo reciprocates the military by giving juicy and high positions in the government the retiring and retired military generals. it is said that our present government is greatly militarized, meaning many ex-military serving in the government as civilians.

yeah...that is really a sad thing...they have the 'power' and they did not used it the right way...i have heard some people say from one of the islands that they have proofs that the military does it...but it's just that, it is difficult to voice out this fact because we are just nobody...
