|  One of my favorite hobbies is crochet. And, so when my baby was born, she had plenty of crochet blankets and booties. I'm always surprised to find that so few people crochet anymore. Everyone thought the crochet items were so cute. Lucky for her, since it was winter time.

| |  I never learned how to crochet. When my son was born he got 2 crocheted blankets that we still have. He is almost 8. My daughter got one crocheted blanket when she was born 10 months ago. I have several dolls from when I was a kid that my grandmother made for me. One doll has crocheted clothes and the other 4 the whole body and clothes are crocheted. My daughter now plays with them.

| |  I love to learn new this. Such as learning how to make one. I have not done any yet. Maybe it is time for me to start learning. While I am still single!

| | Here's my suggestion. Learn how to crochet a granny square. You can find a pattern and simple instructions for free on the Internet. You can then make lots of small granny squares and stitch them together for a bigger blanket or make one really big granny square. And, if you use three pieces of yarn and a big crochet hook, you can even make a decent sized rug. Best of luck. Crochet is easy to learn, much easier than knitting. And, lots of fun. | |  Well, In have tried to study the basics of crochet when i was young. And I made a simple chain... but making flowers and clothes is very complicated to me. I am not gifted with the power to do that... lols. My auntie is very good there. She can make curtains and etc. I really envy her with that. So good that you are good in that too.

| |  I knitted a blanket for my nephew, and he still has it. Never crocheted anything, still trying to learn, but I don't have that much practise yet!!!
