How to keep from getting another kidney stone

The second day of my freshman year of college (last year) I was taken to the hospital and found out that I had two kidney stones. One was too big to pass and had to be broken up using a laser, but before the surgery my mom was obsessed with looking up ways to soften kidney stones or make them pass so she had me drink olive oil and lemon juice, and it turned out it actually softened it enough that it broke up the first time so they didn't have to do it twice (it was that big). But I heard that you have a really good chance of getting another once you've had one..and I really don't want to get another one, so if you've had one what do you do to prevent them, or what have you heard even if you've never had one?

I have a kidney stone that is too big to pass 14.5 millimeters which has over a 1700% chance of not passing normally. I nearly lost my kidney to it two years ago when the kidney shut down on me. I found a product called Uriflow that helpes to break down kidney stones and flush them painlessly away. It can also be taken as preventative maintenance to insure that you do not have a recurrence. I have taken it off and on for the last 2 years and it has worked well for me. No more trouble with the stone and no surgery at all!

You have to do the following: drink lots of fluids, keep a cap on your calcium, check your stomach medicine, don't eat too many oxalate-rich foods, try magnesium and B6, eat vitamin A-rich foods, stay active, watch your protein intake, lay off the salt, take a look at vitamin C. , and don't get too much vitamin D.
In short keep everything in balance. :)
