|  Hello everyone. I am just looking to get some opinions here. I have a friend who is a big time Waylon Jennings fan. This friend idolizes Waylon and he has even set up a myspace profile which is completely dedicated to Waylon. So I was thinking that as a Christmas present for my friend, I would make a scrapbook which is a tribute to Waylon. I would include pics from some of his best selling albums, have pages that tell about some of Waylon's greatest achievements or milestones he overcame, etc. What do you think? Good idea or bad idea? And does anyone have any suggestions as to what sort of Waylon related things I might include in this book to make it extra special?

| |  I think that is a very fun idea! You might look for little guitar brads or other embelishments. Also visit a website that has all the info and try to pick out certain things that he was well known for like something he liked to eat...or drink. You must be a wonderful friend!

| |  You could ask the newspaper, they probably have files in the morgue (scary name is it not?) and then they could get you a photocopy of a clipping. Oh thanks for the best response.

| |  a scrapbook would be nice. but before you start you have to spy on the WAYLON stuffs she already has. so the pics you have to include in the scrapbook must be something he hasn't seen yet.
you could also create a picture where Waylon and your friend are together. with today's technology i'm sure that could be done. :)

| | Thanks for your response. I already thought of trying to make a picture of them together, thanks. I can not look to see what my friend already has because he lives far away. However, I know that my friend already owns many if not all of Waylon's albums and what not, which is why I am not considering getting him any Waylon CD's, records or anything of that nature. I also know that he although he may or may not have any books about Waylon, he does not have a hand made scrapbook/tribute to Waylon, which is why I was thinking that I would make him one. I don't know if I could include only Waylon pics that my friend doesn't already have as I have no way of knowing what all pics he does have without coming right out and asking him, lol. I don't want to do that because he would want to know why I was asking and I don't want to tell him as I want this whole idea to be a surprise. Still, my friend is a huge Waylon fan as I have already said, and he is a person whom puts a high value on friendship as well. For this reason, I thought he would enjoy receiving a scrapbook dedication to one of his idols that was hand made and from one of his friends, even if it does contain some pictures which he might already have. So what do you think? | | | |
