Another motorcycle

Some of these Bikers went all out this year. The toys were awesome. Some of the toys were either too big for the bikes or too numerous for them to carry so a large truck followed at the end full to the brim along with a fire truck also full and a huge stretch limo which was also full. The great thing is all of their efforts stay in their community so they know that they could very well one day walk pass the little kid that got their toy. They won't know it but that kid is somewhere nearby and it makes them feel good!!

This is an awesome thing that they do. Also that it stays in the community. I know bikers sometimes get a bad rap, but this is something that everyone should do to help contribute to the community for the less fortunate one's.

I used to ride in our toy run but I can no longer ride so I do the photos for my friends in ABATE and some others and I support them in other ways. Even though I do not "do" christmas I understand the devastation of a little kid with nothing at this time of year! They cannot be left bereft.

Aren't these guys awesome? They really do so much good and still get a bad rap!!! I don't get it.

They don't get a too bad a rap down here. For one thing if you think about it, motorcylces have become so expensive that you have to be rich to by a new one so its mostly doctors and lawyers that own harleys now. So about half of the Bikers are just weekenders. But because of Daytona Bike Week and all the money it brings in (way more than Speed Week and Spring Break) the Hotels and Shops will do anything to keep it going.
We have a very good ABATE group here and they do a wonderful job of organizing all of the major events. They control the crowds and they do the clean-up. They are awesome.
