Okay Avid coffee drinkers...Foldgers or Maxwell House? How many scoops?

We drink Dunkin Doughnuts coffee at my house. I have no idea how many scoops we use because I just use the pour method! I pour the coffee in until it looks right! I like it a little stronger than my husband does. We mostly use Coffeemate creamers because that is what he likes but I don't mind International Delight either. Right now we have hazelnut, vanilla, amaretto, chocolate mint truffle and eggnog flavors. I don't like the amaretto or anything with cinnamon in my coffee. He bought cinnamon hazelnut once, I couldn't even drink it. I really want to try the new coconut flavored one but I have only seen it in a huge bottle and I don't want to buy it and hate it. Speaking of New Orleans, Cafe Du Monde has a great Cafe Au Late! Mmm, I miss living in the South!

Oh yeah, I prefer Foldgers also. I usually use 3 heaping scoops, strong but not too strong. As for creamer, I love Coffeemates holiday flavors, I am addicted to the Gingerbread flavor, but my boyfriend likes plain coffeemate in his. We normally have a pot going most of the day on the weekends, and since I usually get home before him I start a pot when I walk in the door after work, as does he if he beats me home. So, you are not alone. lol

I am a Maxwell House girl myself, on a normal day, but this time of year I get really into the gourmet coffees as well. For instance, in October or so a friend of mine in CT sends me a huge bag of Pumpkin Spice coffee, the only sell this brand in her area. So, I love that every now and then, with just a bit of milk in it... perfect! I also like the Millstone Chocolate velvet flavor with just a bit of milk in it, it's great. Alright by itself without milk too, but much better for this flavor with milk (it gives it almost a milk chocolate taste) On normal days like today, I drink Maxwell House Rich Original, yum. 6 scoops,... HEAPING scoops. Mine has to be dark too. Love it that way. I use Coffee Mate Vanilla Caramal flavor. That is my favorite. However I have Cinnamon Vanilla and Peppermint Mocha in there right now for a little bit of holiday cheer! LOL! I do like Folgers too, and will drink that without a problem, but I grew up on Maxwell House, and I'm just stuck on it unless Folgers is the only available! What can I say, I just love coffee... already had a pot of it today, and I am thinking about making another to cut the chill! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Either works for me! Usually I get what's on sale. This week Maxwell House. Last it was Folgers Country Blend. If I drank a pot that strong, I'd be on the moon...For creamer I always use Coffee Mate. They have wonderful flavors. It's my little diet secret. coffee for dessert. Right now sitting in my fridge. I have Toffee Nut, and Pumpkin Spice. All the flavors with out the pie! wink!

i like coffee but probably not as good as you. i perk my coffee & noone seems to care for it. 6 scoops, gosh i put 3 in mine & everyone thinks it's to strong.lol
