What happened to all the good Monday night television shows?

Well, tonight turned out to be one of those rare times when I actually got to watch television. And, being Monday night, I figured that there must be something really good on television. But, since our cable went out, we don't get all the cool cable shows anymore. Just basic broadcast television stuff.
I really liked some of the stuff on CBS, very funny, especially that show about the geeky scientists. But, some of the other shows like "Notes from the Underbelly" and "Samantha Who?" are taking a little while to digest. I didn't really get the point.
There's still hope yet. It's almost ten PM and I'm sure there's at least one good show coming on, tonight. Any suggestions?
What do you usually watch on Monday night television? Any shows that I didn't mention that you really like?

The problem is the writers' strike that has forced many shows into reruns or off the air for a while. Monday nights used to be great tv nights. I love the geeky scientists show too, Big Bang Theory, it's so funny. Notes from the Underbelly is a toss up, I can take it or leave it. I like Samantha Who?, it's fun. I like How I Met Your Mother, on CBS and TWO And A Half Men.
