What about celebrities like Oprah endorsing politicians in President campaign??

Anyone can endorse anyone for any reason. That is why we are called a free country. Oprah is supporting A Black candidate over a female candidate because her "roots" are more imporatant to her than getting a woman elected. That is her perogative. I will not say who I am voting for because that is another thing that this Free Country guarantees: the right to vote in private. But I will say I wouldn't back Hilary either!

I don't have a problem with celebreties endorsing a certain person. They are simply saying who they like. I don't think it should change who people vote for. We should each use our own brains and form our own opinions. The good thing about someone like Oprah endorsing someone is that we get to learn more about that person and their views.

I've never understood why anyone would be swayed by a celebrity's endorsement. Why would it matter what anyone else thought? We must make up our own minds based on our own beliefs and needs. Whether it's poitics or clothing or anything else, let the celebs do as they wish, and I'll do my own thing, thank you.
