I often use garlic - fresh or cooked - if I have a cold or some infection. It is really efficient, I start feeling better a short time after eating it. It is really strong, so I cut it in pieces and add some yoghurt or sour milk and afterwards I eat an apple or banana and it helps to take away the smell. If you are around people who don´t like the smell of garlic, what do you do to avoid smelling too much??:)

I also use a lot of fresh garlic for cooking and when I have a cold. I try to stay away from people when I'm using it. There doesn't seem to be any way to get rid of the smell that I know of!

One solution would be to spread the word of how healthy garlic is among our friends. If everyone eats garlic, they don´t feel the smell..hehe..:)

Parsley - healthy food for eating and cooking
I was told eat Parsley in your food separated from garlic of course. I haven't tried it but I will try it one of these days.

I have read that too, somewhere. Must be something in the parsley that takes away the smell. I guess they could be eaten together too..!:)

If it is possible, then brush you teeth. The most convenient way is the take a chewing gum. It will remove the bad breath.
