I have a pretty white cat. In fact, I got him because "we don't have a white kitty..." He's very sweet. He loves Pong & Ping (males) and is often found cuddling & licking one or both of them. He will wash my hair sometimes, and licks my face & arms - so he's a hair dresser, groomer. AND he has FIV - a cat form of HIV. So, we think he's gay.

We used to have a male poodle who had a crush on - in fact he was obsessed with - our male persian cat. He was constantly trying to mount him. It was the weirdest thing!

haha, that is funny....I do think that some cats might be gay haha..I used to have a cat she was a girl and she hated boy cats, but just loved all the girl cats..She would just get so cuddly with other girl cats and roll around and lick on them but let a male come on the scene she would get her hair all up and ready to fight. We always accused her of being gay..Lol

I have a couple of females that pretty much hate all cats. In fact, it seems that I can't have a female that likes cats AND people - one or the other, but not both.

FIV is caught by deep puncture wounds. Timus is a mixer, but he isn't a bitter. We had him for 3 years before we discovered he had FIV, I did have him checked when I first got him, but he must've caught it too soon for it to show up when we had the test run. It was only when he got an infection that isn't normal for a healthy young cat that the test was re-run. After meds & stuff, he recovered from that infection, he's pretty healthy, the FIV, like HIV doesn't kill on its own, but because it weakens the immune system.

Actually, he's 5. He was just shy of a year when we got him, unfixed & having had a close encounter with a car engine. We had noticed he was always getting hurt & was slow to heal, but he had healed very slowly from the injury from the car, just thought that's the way he was, until he had an infection that caused my vet to have him retested. So we've known about the FIV for about a year

I have a few Bi kitties. When there are no girls to try to molest, they molest each other. They will go through all the motions of holding their brother down and getting into position... Really need to get some $ to get them fixed!!

Ahh, yes, the males will go after their brothers if they have no females. But Timus is fixed, and he doesn't mount the other cats (that's Scamp thing) he just licks & loves on them.

Ok I'll Bite ~ What is FIV? I've never heard of this one before. Are you serious or just making conversation? Our sister cats, may they rest in peace, were always licking each other and then making awful faces. It was funny!

FIV is Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. It was discovered when they started doing HIV tests on cats. It had always been thought there was Feline Leukemia Virus and some cats were resistant to it or something. Then they discovered that those cats that seemed resistant were actually living with FIV cats instead of FeLV cats. FIV is aquired by deep puncture wounds, like fighting toms get, tho females will get it from being bitten by FIV toms during mating or when defending kittens.

My solid white cat, Murphy, is the biggest pansy I've ever come across. My S/O and I were talking about Halloween costumes for the cats and we decided to dress Murphy up as a gay Zorro. Murphy would have a pink body suit, lavendar cape and a baby blue eye thing like Zorro's. He'd have in big letters "SWP" for Super Wussy P*ssy on his body suit. He's got this pitiful little meow and I swear if he knew how, he'd put his paw over his forehead, meow that pitiful meow and then flop on his back like an overly dramatic child. He's a hoot.
