Jeanne Assam: Hero or Criminal?

Jeanne Assam shot Matthew Murray before he could continue his killing spree in a church in Colorado Springs.
Should she be considered a hero for stopping the scum bucket from continuing to murder people in the church, or a criminal for having a gun in the church in the first place?

How perps are obtaining weapons is a problem because 8 out of 10 times, they aren't obtaining them legally. Taking away the right to bear arms causes more harm than good. It leaves good people unprotected.
Maybe if my formerly military parents hadn't gone pacifist, I might not have been raped in my own home at 15, but that's just my dumb woman opinion...

Brave, I'm sure the people in that church who didn't end up with a bullet in their heads beg to differ. Feel free to resent the fact they are still alive all you want.
