| Computer Games  | | | |  I just wanted to pass this along to you guys. My son has been using this game called rising star learning. It's some promotional thing that I got off the internet. But anyways it's so great. With just one week he's actually learned his letters. He does dot to do and is telling me what sound they make. It's really great. Do you guys have any other little games like this that would be good to further his learning?

that is awesome! congratulations on your son learning his ABC's in just a weeks time. :)
and i have never heard of Rising Star Learning before but it sounds like it is a very good program for pre-school children.
when my youngest son started in kindergarten, he was only four years old but his birthday was in September so we went ahead and let him go on to school, so, he was struggling with his school work so that year for one of his Christmas presents we purchased him a Leap Frog learning system. those are neat to have for children. and i think that they also come in, like for all different ages. you might want to check one of those out for your children. wal-mart has them.

| | Yeah I had never heard of rising star either. And I really want to get him Leap Frog stuff. They are really expensive right now for us so after tax return that will be the first thing. And my son's birthday is September first so he'll be going early and I want him to be prepared and not behind. Thanks for the advice!! | | | |
