Do you have a favorite News station on tv?

I really try not to watch the news because it's always so horrible but every once in awhile I will turn on the CNN station to see what's happening in the world. To me this is the best place to get the news of what is happening around the world. Watching local news isn't as educational as the world news is and living in Boston it's usually about who was shot, held up or did something wrong politically in the State House.
What is your favorite tv news station? Do you prefer local or world news?

I really don't have a favorite news station, ctry. I tend to watch the news on whatever channel the last show I watched is on. I like to watch both local and world news(depressing as they are), because I want to stay informed. I even catch the BBC News on public TV when I am up early in the mornings.

Usually when news come on a station I'm watching I'll change it. I have to be in the mood to listen to what's going on.

Ever since 2000, I haven't watched news that often. But when I did, I would watch my local NBC news. They would tell you All the news , local and national.All of the crew seemed to like everyone. It was like family. but when the Supreme Court gave Bush the White House, I stopped watching the news. and while I was away, they have fired the sportscaster and got rid of the arts and entertainment reporter. So I don't want to watch them. The only time I tune in now is when there is a storm forcasted. The same weather man is there.For breaking news, I go to CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC. The way my cable channels are set up, I can flip to all of them quickly because they are just one channel away.

My country don't have much news station beside Channel news asia yea , not sure you all have seen it before or not

I like to see both the local news and world news. I watch MSNBC the most but I occasionally tune in to CNN and CNN Headline News. I sometimes put it on Fox for a good laugh, or when there's a major breaking news story that's not political I'll flip through all the news networks to make sure I'm up to date. I also read my local newspaper and get quite a bit of news online. Basically, I'm a real news junkie!
As for whether I prefer local or world news, I like to keep up on both. I watch one local station in particular sometimes first thing in the morning and always between 5 and 6:30 pm and also the 11:00 local news. I usually catch ABC World News Tonight - as much by habit as anything - but I get most of the national and international news from MSNBC.
