Do you have the necessary intestinal fortitude to improve your life? |
|
Occasional minor aches and Pains are part of life, but there comes a time as we age, that those Little pains can become a Big problem, to the point of having knee surgery or a hip replacement. Most people have heard of Yoga and the almost miraculous benefits that can be obtained, right in your own home, from a daily Yoga routine.Yet very few take the time, or make the effort to obtain these wonderous results. Why are there so few willng to make a commitment to future Quality of Life. Knee replacements at best, are only a Bandaid applied after the fact, yet thousands wait in line for months or years, dreaming of walking the dog once again. Are you planning ahead to a Quality Retirement, or are you one of the many, who are too busy living in the present, to think of your future, and walking the dog from a wheelchair? 1. irishmist (1783) | 9 months ago | I enjoy staying in shape, and don't want anything to slow me down. Yes I do yoga and pilate's. I also work out on my ball. These workouts will keep you flexable. People just don't stop to think what will happen when they get older. Even a little exercise each day will help.

barehugs (2539) | 9 months ago | Everybody wants to be in shape, and most people are in good shape for the shape they are in! Very few think of their future in terms of the shape they will be in. God help those who won't help themselves! Buy stocks in a wheelchair company. I'm Happy for you Irish! Merry Christmas!

2. Roberrific (134) | 9 months ago | Are there special exercises for internal fortitude? How about a special exercise for the knees? Is there a special exercise I could do to improve the quality of my life? And most importantly, is there any special type of YOGA that you recommend? Are you an instructor? Is there a Yoga exercise show on TV?

barehugs (2539) | 9 months ago | Intestinal Fortitude is another way of saying,"Get your Head around it." Yoga is a complete set of Poses which strenghten your muscles, lubricate your joints, and still your mind. The practise of Yoga will improve the Quality of life. I have been enjoying Hatha Yoga for many years. There used to be several good yoga programs on TV, perhaps there still are. Downward Dog Yoga Studios in Toronto Canada is a program that I followed for several years.

5. nancyrowina (1710) | 8 months ago | I've just begun to do Yoga more regularly to lose a little weight after Christmas for a party I have to go to in fancy dress. I want to try and keep it up however as it does improve you mind as well as your body, and I still can't quite do some of the postures I'd like to reach a stage where I can.

barehugs (2539) | 8 months ago | Just once a week for 45 minutes will bring improvement, However if you can do it 5 days a week you will see results sooner. After 30 years of yoga I'm still seeing improvements with my asanas. The trick is never become comfortable with your poses. Take them just a little bit further each time. Some of the more difficult poses take years to master. All the best to you in Yoga!
