|  I hope most of them use short-cut keys to access the computer. Everyone prefer using keyboard instead of dragging and clicking the mouse. It will definitely increase the speed of your work when you work with the keyboard instead of using mouse. Below are some of the short-cut keys that I would like to share with all:
-Always use Windows key(two keys in the keyboard one in the right and another in the left)
-You have one key in the keyboard which can be used instead of using Right click in the mouse. This is in the right hand side of the space key after the Alt key.
-When you want to close a window use Alt+F4 keys.
-When you want to save an excel file and when the dialog box opens, use Alt+4 or Alt+5 to create a folder and save the file inside it.
I am not sure whether most of us knew the above short-cuts but still if you could share some, it would be very useful.

| |  Alt + Tab cycles through the windows
Ctrl + Shift lets you highlight whole words at a time
Ctrl + (left/right) arrow move the cursor one word at a time
Prt Scrn takes a screen shot of the monitor
F11 puts Internet explorer into full screen mode
Alt + (left/right) arrows take you back and foward through internet pages
Ctrl + A selects all text in the current window
Ctrl + x Cuts removeable text
Ctrl + z undo previous typing
Ctrl + c copies text/pics
Ctrl + v pastes text/pics
Shift + delete permanently deletes a file without using the recyling bin
Ctrl + f find text
win + f find files/folders
win + r opens run dialog box
win + m minimizes all windows
space bar pages down
Shift + Space pages up

ctrl + end key == to go end of doc
ctrl + home key -- to got starting of doc
ms word short cut
ctrl + R -- to right align
ctrl + L -- to left align
ctrl + B -- to bold a character
ctrl + U -- to underline
ctrl + I -- to italic

| |  Short cut keys are really good. They make your access to different areas of your computer faster. But not all the time short cut keys work. There are instances that mouse works better than short cut keys on the keyboard. There are also times when working with both makes work faster.

| |  Thanks for posting this; I'll definitely save it and print it out for reference. It's hard to get used to all the different shortcuts, at least it is for me but if I get in the habit of using some of them hopefully I'll remember them.

| |  I try to use the keyboard instead of the mouse as much as I can, not just for the ease of use but for less wear and tear on the ol' elbow! I have tendinitis/tennis elbow and when I do work that requires the mouse a lot, I can certainly tell by the achiness in the elbow by the end of the day.
I appreciate these answers as there's always more to learn and I didn't know all of these shortcuts.
