we all have been children with whimsical dreams...i have dreamed of becoming a pediatrician when i grow up but now,i ended up majoring in psychology(it can still be related to medicine anyway!)...i have also dreamed of owning a very beautiful house, with all my favorite colors painted on it...i am still not capable of fulfilling any of my childhood dreams 'coz i still have to finish my studies..but i'm still hoping!

My childhood dream was to become a writer and to have at least one book under my belt. So far, I have written many articles, poems, short stories, but have yet to write a book that meets my goals. I will do this eventually and look forward to the day when I see my name in big, bold, black letters under the Author field. Completing a childhood dream is a great success for anyone. There are many people who long to do something with their lives but never seem to meet these goals, if you have a dream, run with it and see where it gets you. Dreams are there for a reason. Dreams are meant for you to accomplish. This does not mean that you should try to be Superman if that was your childhood dream but to instead, help people kind of the way Superman did. Completing a dream is amazing and it is a real accomplishment. If you have a dream, make the most out of it no matter how long it takes you too get there.

It's funny how life turns out for some of us. When I was growing up I always wanted to be a hairdresser and finally got to do it when I was 30 years old. I worked in the business for 2 years and hated it. Now I'm in the process of getting my assoc. degree in Developmental Disabilities. It's strange the way life turns out for us!
