Do any of you know how make up is made, what is the base they use ?

I heard animal fats go into it and a bunch of other nasties but as of such I don't know for sure. ~Joey

I dunno for sure either, but i heard it was like chicken fat and stuff. That's gross. i'm glad that i dont wear that shh it. :)

I have to say that too. My wife dosesn't either, I'd be sick thinking about it if I knew. I think makeup is not natual anyway, I hate it on girls. now those with illness, it's heart warming and I have nothing against people who do =) ~Joey

no me either, if you wear it that's up to you! I just dont like it for myself ;) I think people look better without makeup, but to each their own if they wanna wear it!

it depends. I think make up is not so animal derived as it used to be. in fact, a lot of make up companies are vegetarian or even vegan. things like Cocoa butters, Beeswax, essential oils.... all kinds of lovely things go in to good make up.

Well if you are right, i am glad that you people are putting a lot more nicer stuff on your faces now lol. I haven't worn make up since my wedding, and before that was another two years or so lol. I dont like it. and it takes too much time to put on, and it costs too much money to buy and replace ;)

growing up my brother always told me it was aborted fetuses.. and as you know to this day i hate lipstick and most other make up :D nasty haha
