I still haven't taken down my Tree!

I still have my Christmas Tree up with all the decorations on it. We left kinda last minute for two weeks 1,000 miles away to be with family for Christmas. We got back on the 3rd and the next day my husband and myself had bad chest colds. And they have let up some but they are still lingering and there have been so many things to do that I just haven't had the time to take down the Christmas decorations. I put them up in the first place when I thought we weren't going away for Christmas. If I had known we weren't going to be here then I wouldn't have bothered.
Anyone else still haven't gotton around to taking down that tree? Boy am I glad it's a fake tree because a real one would be a mess by now.

Our tree is still up so don't feel bad. Infact, it's been lit still for the past few days, so you definitely are not the only one that still has it up. Ours probably won't be taking down for another week or so. I'm leaving for school tomorrow, so I won't be home to help take it down with everyone else, but I should have helped them take it down before now.

Our tree came down on Christmas day and Morgana, our cat, was the deciding factor. I had it on top of the entertainment center (it's a small tree) and she attacked an ornament and the whole thing came over. Luckly nothing was broken and after that I decided to put it away. I'm glad it lasted till Christmas day though.

I didn't have a tree, but I admit I still have some Christmas decorations around the house. I've put some away, but I really need to get serious. After all, it's time to decorate for Valentine's Day! lol
