how many people have lost their wallet???

It;s happened to me twice, but I have been lucky in that I was able to cancel credit cards etc. before they were used. More of a hassle than anything. I wouldn't be carrying my SIN in there if you are worried about identity theft.

First I am sorry you lost your wallet. I have actually had my purse stolen. Here were the tips the police gave me. 1. Never carry birth certificate, ssn card in wallet. 2. Never sign any credit cards on back put CID 3. Carry a spare ID elsewhere on your person. So now we have a lock safe with important papers and put those in there.I'd look into some identity theft protect. Try Lifelock.com it's been on NBC and apparently its$9 a month. I lost my purse when I was about 15 or 16. We stopped at a rest area when we were on vacation and I sat my purse down on the bench where I was sitting. We got ready to leave and when we were down the road, I remembered it. We went back and it was gone. I lost my social security card, camera, vacation money along with pictures and soem othe stuff. I hated it. Someone called my house and said they have my things and was supposed to return it but never did.

I am lucky, I never lost my wallet so far. Sorry for you.

ohhhh. I'm sorry this happened to you. It's never happened to me...I think I have an OCD with always checking for my purse/wallet/keys I have a huge worry of losing them.
