The birthplace of my mother, family and relatives
that live there, the night life in Bistro Roberto,
the times shopping in LCC Mall, the times doing
business and traveling in Centro Naga, hitting up
the clubs and dining places, finding the most gorgeous
bicolana women that walk on this earth, home of us
bicolanos, being close by to Pili, Iriga and Legaspi,
home of Camarines Sur, the place which is called
"Maogmang Lugar" - The Happy Place, where as us bicolanos can say "Oragon Kami" - We are skillful/intelligent! I will be there again to live out the great times I was there. Bicol is home to me.

The Bicol language was the first dialect I learned before I learned Tagalog. I was there for a good 7 months then came back California. I was there early 2006 and left end of 2006. It wasn't easy at first, but I picked it up very quick and was much easier to learn than tagalog. Tagalog was more complex learning the grammar - but I am able now to speak both fluently.

Wow that's great I was born in Naga City too. I finished my elementary thru college there. I was there last Christmas Break and I saw that the place is really growing already after almost a year the place is really transforming and developing quite well. I am a proud Bikolano too.

LOL I have a few bicolano officemates before and your post certainly reminded me of them. ^__^
I used to work in Quezon province and that's where I met my bicolano officemates who loved chilli foods so much that when they are eating, they would sweat profusely. ^__^;; two of them lives in Naga City and I have been in their house twice during their fiesta every September. its really fun there and there are a lot of things and places to see. the procession was always full of people, natives and tourists that the authorities would have to close the roads for vehicles.
I had also fun when we went night clubbing there. they had nice bars and nice bands. ^__^
