Very interesting site.I wonder on what basis it calculates a website worth.I ran a test run for myLot and this is what I got :
Your website at www.mylot.com is worth $ 1,808,297.0
I think it measures the size of a database and then decides the amount.What do you think ?

Alright now I found out how it calculates.It calculates the amount if back links to the website.Most of the people have used mylot referral links on their blogs , websites etc so this one certainly has a lot and lots of back links.

Indeed, it calculates the backlinks. It is a basic way of calculating it. Imagine yourself that this website also has a database worth some more...

Says my personal website is worth $114,342.00 which is about right.
A real worth of a web site is what someone will give you for it... the worth of ANYTHING...
To fing a gauge of what a web site is worth take annual earnings and multiply by 3 (36 months earnings) at the least and multiply by 5 (60 months earnings) at the high side.
I have a pseudo price-tag of $140,000 for my site so that web site was not far off. Usually they are WAY off.
