Endorsing Barack Obama

I think it will help out a little. Theres a lot of people that loves Oprah and are influenced by her. Oprah did not endorse Barack because he is "black". Actually Obama is not "black" his is of mixed race. But Oprah endorsed Obama because she feels and thinks he will make a great President. Just like we will all vote for a certain candidate of President because we feel that they will make a great President, and we like what they are saying they will do once they get into office.

Well without even considering how much influence Oprah has, I don't think it was appropriate for Oprah to play the "Black" card like this. People like Oprah are always seen as a symbol of the nation and the country as a whole and projecting her personal preference like this has made her lose her own credibility. At least in my good books, she has lost her position. I hope that Barrack does compete on his own in this election and not with the support of the blind followers of a talk show queen. (BTW I'm a big fan of Oprah and I've no personal problem with her or her show)

I think that it is a big feat having Oprah to endorse Barrack. Oprah is such a celebrity and can draw in a lot of votes because people especially women, have very high regard of what she thinkss and relies on her judgment.

I personally don't think Oprah has as much pull as most people think. When it comes to Obama he's going to win or lose this election on his own merit. I don't think just because their both black that every black person in the country will vote for him.

sure it will. anytime she endorses anything or anybody it goes well fr them. she is a very smart lady & i admire her for what she has made of herself.
