We saw this tonight and boy I don't know how I made it through. Don't get me wrong, the movie was great!! but the camera movement was supposed to be a home movie and it was really shaky and moving all the time. I felt like they could have at least set the camera down or still once in awhile. There were a few parts where they were just sitting there chatting yet the camera still would shake around. Anyone else have the same problems? And if you haven't seen the movie, don't expect me to tell you what it's about - I hate people who spoil movies!!

Actually the theaters here have warnings at the ticket stations about the camera movement and how it may cause nausia. I was REALLY expecting to get sick like that, because I get car sickness VERY easily. The only time I don't seem to get it is when I'm driving. ANYWAYS. I did not get lightheaded or anything like that at all during the movie. But the movie DID scare the crap out of me, so my stomach was tense the entire time because of that. lol

Actually I pretty much expected what would happen there so it was more just a matter of when! But also, I was quick motion sick by that point so I was kept looking away to try to calm my self so I didn't get sick! It was a great story though.

Yeah, I was warned ahead of time, that may have helped. But I didn't do anything different to help myself not get nauseated. I was actually expecting it at first, but the movie was just so good, I forgot about all that. it didn't scare you at all?!??! What abot the part in the tunnel; the night vision on the camera and everything! Oh...everyone in my group was just flipping out while they were fiddling with the camera trying to get nigth vision. I was hiding my face because I knew exactly what was coming! lol.

These types of concepts are usually the time that one group of people will love, while others utterly detested. Thats particularly what occured with my self and my girl.. she hated it, and said that it made her dizzy, yet for myself, I had no problem and loved it. And yeah.. dont spoil the movie.. that is something that I utterly detest :D

Well I still thought it was a great movie, just had to close my eyes at time and try to not get sick!! I have seen other reviews where people said they hated it because of this, but I still thought the movie itself was good. Good plot, good characters, cool effects. Glad to know I wasn't the only one that got that way though!

One more thing. My husband said that it would have been even cooler in Imax 3d. I said "are you kidding! I was already near dying, if it was 3d I would have never made it the whole movie!" While I get his point about being in 3d, with this shaky camera, I would have closed my eyes the whole thing probably. But you may have liked it!

A camera will shake even if you are standing still a little bit, generally, especially if the person is scared. I have not seen it yet: hear good and bad things.

This wasn't just mild shaking though, it was constant turning around, flying to look to the other side, jumping, running, etc etc. It was just a little too much
