That's cool. My Mom taught me to play the guitar when I was a young girl. I hope you enjoy learning it and keep playing it.

Oh my goodness, thanks so much! My son got a guitar for Christmas last year and is still trying to learn how to play! The only person in our small town who teaches lessons is full and besides, the lessons are so costly! I will order the CD!!

I signed up. That is a pretty nice site. I had never heard of it before. I have always wanted to play guitar and have been looking around for someplace to learn. I also don't know how to read music so I figured that the first thing I probably would have to do is that. So I was very interested when I saw your discussion posted. And I have signed up there. That sounds interesting. Too bad I do not own a guitar - I need a left handed one though. I guess you have to pay shipping and handling charges for the Cd. I guess it is only offered to Americans. Yes I was right.

I taught myself, go to the music store, buy Alfred guitar lesson book #1. The guitar is pretty easy and straight forward. The first 10 lessons will leave you wanting for a lot more, when you get done with them..go find alfred.
