I was trying to mention a famous book, you know, Melville's classic tale of the big white whale?
Well, it wouldn't let me say Moby****. So**** is now a bad word in any context. Gimme a break. So, from now on, I'll refer to Moby Richard, and blank Van ****, and the comic book character "guess who" Tracy. Oh, and I just found out, you can't say the guy who starred with Mary Tyler Moore in a show with his name as the title, also starred in Mary Poppins. I didn't know who uptight Mylot was until now.

I tried mentioning Melville's classic only to get the nice red censor text for it. Sigh...
Of course there are workarounds to the feature, plus the "minor" two D--- and H--- can be said.
How can I prove it? Experience
Oh alright: damn, hell.

More than likely it is just software that looks for certain combinations of letters and has no way of knowing or determining contest. We first experienced this oddity when my husband wanted to talk about the part of a turkey that is mostly white meat, and marinating it with Italian dressing and putting it on a smoker.

That is rather strange as there are some other words that I think much more offensive. It was some time ago but I had a similar situation - I can't remember now what the word was but it wouldn't let me use it and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was wrong with it.
Well, my Aunt Bonnie will be happy - all my life I had an Uncle D... but when he married Bonnie she wouldn't call him anything but Richard. It took me years to figure out who she was talking about :(

I know, I made a similar posts a few weeks back. I think it is kind of ridiculous, I mean they say those words on TV. I'm thinking that there is something that can be done.
