is it excessive of me to have got through 10 phones in a year

It definitely is excessive of you to change 10 phones in a year....I can only imagine the amount of money you spent each time...

i got the same problem, i get bored too quick of mobile phones, but i don't have much money to change a phone every month!
i bought a Sony Ericsson P990i while ago, its a good phone but it gotta problem, the application opening is limited, you cant open several application at the same time.
and I'm willing to change it!:D

Forget excessive - why do you waste so much money?

wow thats crazy.. i couldnt have gone through ten phones in a year even if i wanted too...

whether or not you are excessive depends on a few things
1- if you have a lot of money
but even then, i could think of better things to spend my money on

2- why you are changing phones
if on a whim, see above
if you keep losing them, you have a bigger problem......

that is definitely too excessive.i do not understand why you must change so many phones in just a year.i do not see any benefits of it.i can only see that is such a waste of money.when i was still in secondary school i like to change phones as well.

but i only changed twice in a year.but later on i am no longer interested in that kind of habits anymore.as you grew older you will become more matured.so i realized it is just wasting money.well i am just a student.

i do not waste my parent's money on that kind of things.i know how hard it is to earn money.so i do not waste it just like that.why do not you straight buy one good phone which have everything and stick to it??the phone i am using now is already 5 years old.

eventhough my phone started to have problem but i still didn't buy a new one.i am still saving money.because once i buy i will make sure it has everything i need.like that i do not have to waste money and buy a new one again.i think you should really try changing your habit

Perhaps not as excessive as it is a waste of your money. Find a consistently good one and stick with it for a year. It's a lot less out of your pocket, and you can always wait to find something better.

If you're making money out of it....then there's no reason to stop, is there?

Wow. I would say it is excessive. You must be on a first name basis with the folks at your carrier by now, what with how often you need to activate new phones. Wow. I couldn't even imagine that, I only get a new phone when I finally manage to break mine. Which I'm doing much better at now that I hardly ever touch it.:) Although, I agree with you about eBay, it is a great place to buy a phone on the cheap. Yea market saturation!

Definitely, why are you switching? Is it because they are breaking/mishandled or are they stolen or are you just upgrading a lot.

I can easily go through a single phone for a year or more.
